Earlier this season, LeBron stated that he feels the Warriors are “healthiest team in NBA history.” James is right in that the Warriors health is somewhat unprecedented by recent NBA standards, and it’s also a jab at the defending champs, since many feel with a healthy Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving, thing would’ve ended up differently back in June.
But since LeBron made that statement, Golden State has seen injuries to Harrison Barnes, Klay Thompson and now Steph Curry. The reigning MVP banged up his lower left leg and had an MRI on Wednesday. His status for Wednesday’s game vs. Dallas is in doubt.
The Warriors have listed Curry as questionable for Wednesday’s game in Dallas. Warriors interim coach Luke Walton said after Tuesday’s practice that Curry could also miss Thursday’s game in Houston against the Rockets.
“There’s a chance that he won’t play in one or both [games],” Walton said, according to the San Jose Mercury News. “That’s probably going to be a game-time decision, or at least determined on how he’s feeling tomorrow.”
