Dez Bryant Threatens to Sit Regular Season Games If He Doesn’t Receive Long-Term Contract

Dez Bryant has been clamoring for a long-term deal for quite a while, so when the Cowboys decided to place the franchise tag on him a few months back, naturally he wasn’t amused. The NFL season opens up exactly two months from today and Dez is steadfast in his request for long-term money. Hard to blame him. The man deserves it.

According to ESPN, Bryant “personally informed” Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones that if a long-term deal wasn’t met by Wednesday, he’ll sit out training camp and even regular season games. Dallas can’t afford to call his bluff.

In fact, Dez isn’t behind coy about it. Here’s what he tweeted a little while ago:

 

Logic tells you the Cowboys will cave and Dez will be signed before the regular season starts. Jerry Jones likes winning too much.
