Paul George Returns to Pacers Practice

If you need any indication as to the advancement of modern medicine, Paul George is set to return to practice for the Pacers. When he initially went down with that compound fracture, it was said that he broke his leg in the “right place,” making a return this year possible. He may be back on the court in a few weeks.

On Thursday, the Pacers’ two-time All-Star finished his first full practice since the compound fracture of his right leg. That’s three days sooner than expected. He is trying to return by Sunday, the date team doctors set in August.

But it’s still unclear when George will play in games, and neither George nor coach Frank Vogel would give a timetable for that. George said that his leg feels good and that he hopes to return this season.
