Watch: Kyrie Irving Injures Left Knee, Helped Off Floor

In a game where LeBron James was a late scratch due to knee soreness, the Cleveland Cavaliers were dealt a scary blow to another one of their stars. In the second quarter, Kyrie Irving landed awkwardly on his left leg after knocking knees quickly with Russell Westbrook in mid-air.

It happened quickly and Kyrie’s knee appears to buckle. Hopefully that’s just a hyper-extension or a sore knee and nothing worse.

UPDATE: Kyrie returned for the second half to finish the game.
