Kyrie Irving has been signed to Nike for quite a while, but was never given his own signature sneaker. That changed around the time LeBron James rejoined the Cavaliers. You could argue that once LeBron became Kyrie’s teammate, Irving became more marketable.
This evening, Kyrie’s signature shoe, the Kyrie 1, was unveiled:
