This Big 3 in Cleveland may be better than LeBron’s Big 3 in Miami and that has alot to do with Kyrie Irving. Fresh off a great showing in Spain at the FIBA World Cup, Kyrie looks poised to do some damage this season and his new teammate LeBron James seems to think so as well.
While in Portland to unveil the new Nike LeBron 12, James had some high praise for his new PG. However, Irving hasn’t demonstrated that he can stay healthy yet in his young career to earn this praise.
“I believe Kyrie can be the best point guard in the league very soon, and Kevin Love is already in the discussion as far as being the best power forward in the league,” James said. “We have so many great [power forwards]: Tim Duncan, if he’s playing center or power forward, Dirk Nowitzki, LaMarcus Aldridge, Chris Bosh, Pau Gasol is still very good. But that’s my vision, to maximize [Love’s] potential, and his potential to be the best at his position.”
