DeAngelo Williams Dons Pink Dreads, Toe Nails in Honor of Late Mom

The NFL’s initiative around breast cancer awareness is no secret. The entire league turns pink in October, during breast cancer awareness month. But for some players, they don’t wait until October to make a statement.

For players like DeAngelo Williams of the Panthers, this means much more as his mother died from breast cancer in May.

Today vs. Tampa Bay, DeAngelo has dyed his hair pink and is donning pink toenail polish. Great tribute.
