The Chicago Bulls finally released Carlos Boozer via the amnesty provision earlier this week after more than a year of speculation. This gives Chicago cap flexibility moving forward. Teams had the chance to claim Boozer before he became a free agent and the Lakers have done just that according to Brian Windhorst.
