Needless to say, the most important thing to happen to the Cleveland Cavaliers since LeBron James left has been drafting Kyrie Irving. He’s only been in the league a handful of years, but he’s already mentioned in the “best PG” conversation and has an all-star start under his belt.
Free agency is only a few hours old, but the Cavs wasted no time in showing Kyrie some love. The team has reportedly offered Kyrie the max at 5-years, $90 million. It will be interesting what transpires in about three years when Andrew Wiggins’ rookie deal expires.
