The Donald Sterling saga moved very quickly, as it all happened in about a month or so. It threatened to drag out much longer than that when news broke last week that Sterling was going to sue the NBA for $1 billion.
But following the sale of the team to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, apparently Sterling has changed his mind and has decided to move on. Good. The NBA didn’t need this distraction to linger any longer.
The attorney for Donald Sterling says the disgraced former Clippers owner will drop his lawsuit against the NBA and has agreed to the sale of the team to Steve Ballmer as negotiated by his wife Shelly, CBS News reports.
