Chris Bosh Willing to Accept Less Money to Remain in Miami

This summer won’t exactly be the summer of 2010 in terms of free agency, but there’s a fair amount of contractual scenarios to figure out regarding to big name placers. One in particular is Chris Bosh.

Bosh has stated on numerous occassions that he wants to remain in Miami. I mean, why wouldn’t he? But will he have to accept less money in order to do so? Perhaps, but it sounds like he’s fine with that.

Bosh was asked about his upcoming opportunity to leave in free agency during an appearance on The Dan LeBatard Show this afternoon and said, “Yeah, I mean, I don’t want to go anywhere. I like it here. It’s Miami. Everybody wants to come here. Yeah.”

When asked if he would accept a below-market offer from the Heat, he answered, “If that’s what it takes.”
