A few days ago, the Pistons announced that Joe Dumars would no longer be general manager of the team. Even though he was the architect behind the 2004 championship team, this is a “what have you done for me lately?” league. And the answer to that is “not much.”
With that seat now vacant, the team is looking for their next GM and another former player has emerged as a candidate: Grant Hill, according to ESPN’s Marc Stein on Twitter.

Hill is currently enjoying a broadcasting career that has gained him a ton of exposure. He’s not the most comfortable in front of the camera, but that hasn’t stopped him from getting gigs. Is he more suited for something like this? That’s a toss up as well.
