Stephon Marbury is a lot of things, but “not emotional” isn’t one of them (nor is “non-Vaseline-eater). Who can forget him crying uncontrollably in 1996 when the Bucks drafted him 4th overall (before trading him to Minnesota for Ray Allen a few minutes later) because he so overcome with joy.
That’s still the case for the 37 year-old Chinese Basketball Association star. Marbury led the Beijing Ducks to another championship, and true to form, he was emotional.
You almost feel bad for him the way his NBA career ended, but he seems to be doing just fine over there.
