Patriots Sign Darrelle Revis to 1-Year Deal

As expected, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers released Darrelle Revis today solely because of financial reasons. Which begs the question: why’d they sign him to that deal last year in the first place.

Anyhow, as you’d imagine, he didn’t last long on the open market. According to NESN.com, the Patriots have signed Revis to a 1-year deal. The Pats lost Aqib Talib yesterday to Denver, so this isn’t a bad Plan-B to say the least.

Darrelle Revis held out in New York a few times because he wanted long-term financial stability. Looks like he’s still in search of that.  But despite it all, Jets fans must be sick.
