There are a lot of first time all stars this year and that list continues to grow. Second year man, Anthony Davis has been selected to replace the injured Kobe Bryant on the western conference all star roster.
Davis flies under the radar because he’s not on a winning team, but he’s averaging 20 and 10 and is ahead of his projected development. Much deserved.
New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis has been selected as the All-Star injury replacement for the Los Angeles Lakers’ Kobe Bryant, according to a person with knowledge of the decision.
The person spoke to USA TODAY Sports on the condition of anonymity because the decision had not yet been announced, though it has since been announced by the league.
