Skittles Signs Marshawn Lynch to Endoresement Deal

After years of indirectly promoting Skittles for free, Marshawn Lynch will now earn some money from his addiction. According to Darren Rovell of ESPN, Skittles has signed Lynch to an endorsement deal, which is the first time the candy brand has signed an athlete.

Details of the deal have not been reported, according to Rovell, but does it really matter? I mean, the man is getting paid simpy because he likes Skittles.

It will be interesting to see is Lynch speaks during any sort of Skittles commercials, because he admittedly doesn’t like to speak. In fact, he was fined by the NFL at the end of the season because he didn’t speak to the media at all during the season.

I’m not sure what to make of this, but Skittles has received a fair amount of talk over the past few years through no doing of their own. There’s Lynch, of course, and then there’s Trayvon Martin. Just an interesting note.
