Fire Alarm in Dolphins’ Buffalo-Area Hotel Went Off at 3:30am

As if this season couldn’t be any more strange for the Dolphins, they’re in Buffalo this weekend to take on the Bills later today in an AFC East showdown, and had to teal with an unusual situation.

According to Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post, at about 3:30am this morning, they fire alarm went off in their Buffalo-area hotel.

The alarm was shut off after a few minutes, but some people actually left their room.

Whether or not the Dolphins are fully rested though for this revenge game against the Bills is unclear. At about 3:30 a.m. this morning the fire alarm went off in the team hotel. It shut off pretty quickly, but it was loud enough to wake up — and freak out — the entire hotel (myself included) and send a blaring fire truck here. Some people evacuated their rooms.

The Dolphins can clinch a playoff berth today with a win and a lot of help, so this little distraction certainly doesn’t help their chances. They kick at 1pm today, so let’s see how they come out and perform.
