I’m all for paying tribute to your favorite team or player, but there’s definitely a line. When you name your child after a player or team, that’s typically a good indicator that you’ve crossed that line.
The Packers’ Aaron Rodgers is out with a broken collarbone and ironically, a baby boy was born on Sunday in Green Bay with a broken collarbone and of course, his parents are Packer fans. So naturally, he was named after Rodgers, according to the Green Bay Press Gazette. The baby’s name is Aaron Rodger Dryer.
But what if the baby were a girl? And I’ll give it a week before Aaron himself pays them a visit. Whether he wants to or not, he has to now.
