Mark Sanchez Could Miss a Month With Injured Shoulder

The Jets quarterback situation is garnering so much attention that you’d think Tim Tebow was still on the roster.

Mark Sanchez hurt his throwing shoulder last week, which probably gives rookie Geno Smith the starting nod by default. However, Smith hasn’t been told as much yet, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York.

Also, the Jets signed Graham Harrell a few days ago, only to cut him today. That was to make room for Brady Quinn. Remember him?

But the biggest news in all of this is that Mark Sanchez’s shoulder is probably worse than we are all being led to believe. He could possibly be out a month. If that’s the case, I’m not sure it makes sense for him ever to assume the starting role again. The team seems as if they’d like to wash their hands of Sanchez and maybe this will be their excuse.

  1. Ohhh THOSE JETS !! How can they:
    A) Get rid of Tim Tebow
    B) then draft Geno Smith, a running QB whose style is similar to Tebow’s.
    C) Last season, Greg McElroy was left to start the last two games. NOT Tebow.
    D) The Jets cut McElroy and hire Graham Harrell
    E) They cut Harrell (after a week) and pick up Brady Quinn off waivers.
ISN’T THIS the SAME Brady Quinn who Tim Tebow leapfrogged over in Denver? Tim became #1 QB and Quinn was the clip board carrying 3rd stringer.
Who can know the mind of the JJJJETS? ??

And it’s kinda getting that nobody cares as well.
