Robert Griffin III Cleared By Doctors

They say the typical recovery time for a torn ACL is 10 months. And that’s on the short end. Just ask Derrick Rose.

However, Robert Griffin III must have super human ligaments in his knee because he tore his ACL in January, and in a mere six months, he has been cleared by doctors.

At this point, there doesn’t appear to be any way imaginable that he isn’t under center week 1. Redskins training camp opens up in about a week and I fully expect him to do everything in his power to be ready.

I still, however, think he’s rushing back. Griffin broke the news on Twitter on Monday:
