Not much has gone right for the Redskins lately, and this certainly doesn’t help.

About two hours before kickoff of their matchup with the Buccaneers, two players were injuries in a freak accident.

Defensive back Brandon Merriweather (who hasn’t played yet this season due to a bad knee) and wide receiver Aldrick Robinson collided with one another during pre-game warmups. Apparently Merriweather’s knee (the bad one) made contact with Robinson’s head. Both players laid on the ground for several minutes before walking off under their own power.

However, both were ruled inactive as result of this freak collision:
