Derek Jeter Breaks Ankle on Routine Groundball, Done for Playoffs [Video]

Even though he’s approaching 40, you have to give Derek Jeter credit. He’s still producing and has remained relatively injury-free throughout his career.

That’s why this comes as a surprise.

Jeter fractured his ankle during game 1 of the ALCS on a routine groundball. Is his body breaking down? Needless to say he’s done for the playoffs. And so are the Yankees, most likely.
