The Miami Heat received their championship rings Tuesday night and David Stern got the party started by addressing the fans. He did the right thing by first acknowledging what’s atop the nation’s mind: Hurricane Sandy. One problem: he said Hurricane Katrina. Stern can’t win these days.
But I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. Just a slip of the tongue.
