Amar’e Stoudemire Out 2-3 With Ruptured Cyst in His Knee

Tough break for the Knicks.

Two years ago, Amar’e Stoudemire was a legit MVP candidate. But last year, he resembled a role player.

He worked his butt off during the offseason (with Hakeem Olajuwon) and promised to have a strong year. But today, it is being reported that Stoudemire has suffered a ruptured cyst in his knee and will be out 2-3 weeks. Hopefully it’s just a minor setback and he’s truly only out a few weeks.

But raise your hand if you knew this could happen to a knee.
