Whenever an athlete does something questionable, it’s always refreshing when they can laugh at themself. That was the case with San Francisco 49er, Vernon Davis.

As you’ll recall, last week, Vernon got hung on the crossbar when he tried to dunk the football in celebration. Well, in the first quarter of tonight’s game vs. the Lions, Vernon scored a TD on San Fran’s first drive. With memory of last week’s fail still fresh in his memory, Vernon opted for the 6-foot pull-up jumper. Wise decision.
