Remember that feeling back in school when you found out there would be a substitute teacher? Well, that’s exactly how most guys are acting in the NFL through two games so far due to the replacement refs. There’s an inordinate amount of cheap shots and late hits after the whistle.
In fact, Cortland Finnegans shenanigans were the root cause of Josh Morgan receiving death threats (although, it doesn’t excuse Morgan’s actions).
But another Redskin took issue with how the Rams played last week: Robert Griffin III. Although he’s only played two NFL games, he was able to detect a different between the Saints (their week 1 opponent) and the Rams last week.
“They were doing a lot of dirty things,” Griffin said Wednesday. “I still think they have an extremely good team. That doesn’t take anything away from them. But the game was unprofessional.”
I hope Griffin realizes the Rams will remember this for when they play next. Especially since he’s still a rookie saying this.
