Derrick Rose is as humble a superstar as I’ve ever seen. If I were 21 years old, playing for a my hometown team, and MVP of the NBA, you wouldn’t be able to tell me a word. Not a single word.

But Rose is different from most stars. He has said numerous times that his personality doesn’t mesh with his celebrity.

That was never more apparent than during his sneaker release on Thursday for his adidas D Rose 3.
