their 23-20 win over the Miami Dolphins yesterday, the New York Jets’ Darrelle Revis went down late in the contest with an apparent phantom injury. He did not make contact with anyone or anything and immediately grabbed his knee. He did not return to the game.
It was widely speculated that he tore his ACL. Well, that isn’t speculative any longer. It has been confirmed.
This was expected, but Jets coach Rex Ryan confirmed at his news conference moments ago that cornerback Darrelle Revis has a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season, per multiple reports.
