The Washington Nationals clinched a playoff berth last night and should wrap up the division in the next couple of days. It has been a forgone conclusion for sometime that the Nats would qualify for the playoffs, since they’ve owned the best record in baseball for a while. It was such a non-story (to a degree), that players didn’t even realize they could clinch a playoff spot last night. That’s a good thing. It shows that they have their sights set on things much higher.

One of those players just happened to be Bryce Harper.
