All right, all right. You got me. Yeah, I watched Basketball Wives every now and then. I’m not going to lie. I mean, I didn’t watch it religiously or anything like that. But, enough to know that Chad Johnson’s wife, Evelyn Lozada, was violent with others on that show numerous times. That includes throwing a bottle of wine at another woman during a particular episode.

I mention all of that to say that the statement she gave to Entertainment Tonight about the altercation with her husband is completely hypocritical. Now, I don’t know who head-butted who (and frankly, I don’t care), but her transgressions on that show should be relevant as well.

“It is with great sadness and much trepidation that I release this statement addressing the domestic violence incident that happened this past Saturday. I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me, it is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well. I’m grateful to my family, friends and fans for the outpouring of support during this difficult time.”
