The U.S. defeated Spain 107-100 to defend their gold medal. Philadelphia 76ers head coach, Doug Collins (who is an excellent broadcaster and underrated basketball mind) called the game and was very much into the tournament the entire time.
Immediately after the U.S. won and were on the court celebrating, Doug Collins was giving his take on the U.S. heading into the Olympics by apparently stating that it was “Championship or bust, bitch.”
I like Collins even more now.

Larry Brown made Indiana a championship contender for year. He brought philly too the finals. He has a NBA championship with the pistons. He’s the only coach too win a ncaa and nba championship. What has doug collins done? Oh thats right coached jordan early in his career and got fired.
