Dolphins Team Plane Involved in Collision at Airport

The Dolphins have had more attention this offseason than they could’ve bargained for. “Hard Knocks” became an even bigger hit when Chad Johnson was released, and now this. The collision was minor and nobody was hurt.

The Miami Dolphins team plane carrying players and coaches back to South Florida after their loss to the Dallas Cowboys backed into another plane on the runway, according to broadcaster Joe Rose, who was on the plane.

According to Rose, the Dolphins’ charter plane clipped wings with another American Airlines aircraft while backing out.

“It rocked the entire plane,” Rose said on his sports radio show (WQAM 560-AM) early Thursday morning. “It was totally crazy. I just couldn’t believe it.”

Rose, a former Dolphins tight end, said there were no injuries reported but there was significant damage to the plane.
