THE REST — 08 August 2012
Due to NBC tape-dealy, the race hasn’t aired yet here, but Allyson Felix of U.S. has captured gold in the women’s 200m.
I liken her ease in the 200 to Usain Bolt’s in the 100. I’ve seen her slow down in the qualifying heats and win easily. She’s only 26 and should be back to defend in 2016 in Brazil. Surprisingly, the 400m gold-medalist Sanya Richards-Ross finished fifth and did not medal.
