Recruit Decommits From Penn State Amid NCAA Sanctions

This is just the tip of the iceberg, as there will surely be more of these in the coming days and weeks. Recruit Ross Douglas has decommitted from Penn State due to their NCAA sanctions and has verbally committed to Michigan.

Four-star cornerback recruit Ross Douglas tweeted today that he has verbally committed to Michigan for the class of 2013.

Douglas decommitted from Penn State after the school was leveled by NCAA sanctions Tuesday.

The 5-foot-10, 180-pounder from Avon, Ohio, also reportedly had scholarship offers from Mississippi, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Northwestern, Tennessee and West Virginia, among others.

He’s the 23rd recruit in U-M’s 2013 class. Verbal commitments are nonbinding until national letters of intent are signed in February.
