The crazy thing is that we’re talking about Kim Kardashian here.

Yesterday, the New Jersey Nets overpaid for Kris Humphries and resigned him to a 2-year, $24M deal. He’s better than most people think, but not $24M good in my opinion.

You may recall a few months ago when Kanye West dropped his song “Theraflu”, where he took a shot at Kim’s estranged husband by saying “he lucky I ain’t have Jay drop him from the team.”

Kanye is Kim’s love interest this month so West felt the need to defend his honor and his woman in that song, by saying he could ask his friend Jay-Z (minority owner of the Nets) to kick Humphries off the team. But, just the opposite happened when Humphries signed yesterday.

So Humphries decided to let Kanye know about it when he tweeted the following, while mentioning Jay-Z in the tweet:

I’m up at Brooklyn! @S_C_ “lucky I didn’t have Jay drop me from the team” lol!
