Prior to Saturday’s MLS match between the Los Angeles Galaxy and FC Dallas, an 11 year-old girl sang the National Anthem. I don’t mean to be mean, especially since she’s a kid, but I’ll just say: it wasn’t good.

But I don’t blame her. I blame her parents for lying to her, allowing her to believe she’s a talented “singer, songwriter.” However, I certainly give her credit for going out there without an ounce of evident stage-fright. That, in itself, isn’t easy.
