Thomas Robinson was stuck on Kansas’ bench behind Marcus and Markieff Morris last year. When the Morris twins decided to turn pro last year, it opened up the door for Robinson to flourish. And he didn’t disappoint. He was runner up for player of the year and proved to be better than both Marcus and Markieff. Go figure.
Robinson is making the wise decision to enter the NBA draft and forgo his final year of eligibility. I think he should be one of the first three names called in June. Robinson had a great year and capped it off with a great performance in the championship game, albeit in defeat. Quietly, he outscored and outrebounded Anthony Davis in that game for what it’s worth, but nobody talks about that.
