Caron Butler Suffers Fractured Hand Against Grizzlies

I agree that what happened with Derrick Rose and Iman Shumpert on Saturday can be directly attributed to the shortened 66-game campaign. But I’m not sure this can be.

The Clippers’ Caron Butler suffered a fractured hand in Game 1 against the Grizzlies. He left the game in the 3rd quarter and did not return. The team announced the injury to his left hand during the game. In all likelihood, he’s done for the rest of the playoffs. This is the second year in a row that he’ll miss the playoff run for his team and this is terrible blow for the Clippers who have their hands full with Memphis.
