Matt Flynn Agrees to 3-Year, $26M Deal with Seahawks

This guy has Matt Cassel and Kevin Kolb written all over him. Before the Chiefs and Cardinals over-paid for each guy respectively, I thought those teams were crazy for making such huge financial commitments to guys that really hadn’t proven themselves yet. And in my opinion, they have not been worth the money they stole.

Well, we can add Matt Flynn to this list. After a great performance in a week 17 game last year, Flynn just threw himself to $10M guaranteed. It was a record-setting performance but it was one game! The Seahawks better hope he pans out. According to Adam Schefter on Twitter:

Filed to ESPN: Matt Flynn has agreed to terms [with] Seattle on a 3-yr contract worth up to $26M w/$10M guaranteed.
