Marbury Leads Team to Chinese League Title

The saddest thing about the Stephon Marbury case is that when he exited the NBA, he still had plenty of game left. He was only in his early 30s. He has Mike D’Antoni to thank for abbreviating his NBA career.

But since going over to China, apparently his Starbury brand has blown up over there and he’s doing well financially as a result. Good for him, I guess. He also has enough left in the tank to lead the Beijing Ducks to a Chinese Basketball Association championship. Good for him again, I guess. Marbury scored 41 points in the decisive game 5 victory over a team lead by fellow American, Aaron Brooks. Now Brooks can officially return to the NBA.
