To be honest, I’m surprised something of this magnitude took so long. Linsanity, for all intents and purposes, is over. The hype surround Jeremy Lin has subsided considerably, not to mention the fact that he has had his fair share of pedestrian performances for the Knicks. Granted, his initial emergence simply just prolonged Mike D’Antoni’s divorce from the team, he still provided a spark and media frenzy that would make even Tim Tebow blush. Lin is now the newest pitchman for Volvo and I expect these to continue to roll in. Let’s just hope his play can continue so that it will justify the money he’s about to encounter.
